Twelve years ago I founded my first home office, and many of my friends and family were a bit 'confused. "What are you doing there?" she asked, apparently, because I have a whole room instead of a corner table where I could pay my bills and save the post confusing. I told them I would be telecommuting, and failed to right. It was 1995, the term was little known in the business world, and people's reactions to them ranged from confusion to suspect thewhole idea of the combination of living and working in space.
Within a few years everything changed. Most people learned more and more telecommuting and home office users, until it was accepted as legitimate (and for many people, a preferred) way of working. Now, more than a decade after I created my first home office, many people know that I also have a built environment to work in their homes, if they work at home or not.
Today, people create home offices for a variety of purposes andMany people find that adorn these spaces can bring unique challenges. For example, there are still affordable, interesting ways to unattractive to refrain from such things as office supplies and files? And what kind of desk do you need?
At the start decorating (or upgrade) your home office, some of the basic concepts important to think about it (and every) room:
Location. Do you need an entire room or part of a room? For heavy domestic offices, an entire room(If you have a spare) are justified. Or you may decide to create a combination home office / sleeping area with a spare. Also note the type of room you want to work with natural light and views of the natural desire to try, and a place where you choose to have easy access to a window. Also, make sure the six outlets in the vicinity and the telephone line, so you do not have long cables that are all over the place.
Furniture. A desk and chair will probably be at the top of yourList of mobile needs. You may also need a file, a printer, and libraries. Go for double-duty device, if your room is small. For example, a printer, without it, and set the printer on a short file cabinet or on your shelf.
Lighting. Proper lighting is crucial to any work environment. You will probably need overhead lighting (to be attached to the ceiling, the bright light thrown over the entire space) and task lighting (for a lamp on the desk, for example,Easier reading).
Accessories. This can be a work area, but remember: it's in your house so you can decorate any way you please. Forget boring as traditional office accessories, desk clocks and Lucite fading art. Accessories for your home office with things you love, if it means framed Picasso prints, a collection of Cabbage Patch Dolls, and sports memorabilia.
Storage. Things, things and more things you can find them all? Thinkoutside the black box in a plastic box, that is. Try baskets for folders, books, delivers more. are available for a printer, you should be an old bench under the shade of your choice painted. A cabinet (entangled in superclearance, of course), all your home and office supplies file cabinet can have a simple look, if you throw a nice table cloth on it. Cards must be placed in a file boring. I consider my strange in a coffee cup, a friend gave me for Christmas. They are clean, in alphabetical order, organized and always on hand.
